Traveller Weddings
Channel four annual produce a few episodes about gypsy wedding yet the widely watched program still manages to shock the nation with the outrageous weddings the gypsy’s produce.
There’s so many deranged points I could bring up but firstly I have to mention the dress? The basically prepubescent bride wore a dress which must of weighed near 20 stone down the aisle with a tail the size of a lorry dragging behind her, I cannot really describe how over done the dress looked but if she wore it on a Caribbean wedding she would of been the laughing stock of the entire resort, and to top the “enough layers and lace to stop a bullet” dress off the travellers decorated it with ASDA price fairy lights which really summarised the true meaning of gypsy culture.
The Bride was be Caked from sock to hair extension in fake tan and Mascara which didn’t quite cover up the acne on her face, the majority of the lady like guests followed suit with the slap but their attire or should I say lack of was the total opposite.
If you we’re at a nice wedding or awedding abroad you’d dress up smart maybe even wear a casual dress, but not at a gypsy wedding where you’re encouraged to wear as little as possible to compliment the vat full of makeup dumped on your face!
The reception is when it really gets interesting as the feasting, boozing and partying commencesfor all of those who are married that is the unattached members of the clans mustn’t drink but still yet have a good time encrusted in war paint and wearing slight to nothing! I wouldn’t bare being in that situation it would be utterly embarrassing but it looks as if they somehow enjoyed it!
